This idea is a high-level suggestion regarding a possible additional status bar for each player. Much like health, armor, hunger, and thirst, the “confidence” bar could determine certain things such as, damage reduction, increased mobility (even with low health), and even as far as the ability to gain additional items from crafting. If you have seen other servers engage in the “stress” bar, this would be similar, but I believe it would allow for more interesting value of certain items or activities. For example: · Alcohol could provide a small amount of confidence. · Certain Drugs could provide a small amount of confidence. · Various activities could increase confidence such as visiting the Vanilla Unicorn, Casino, Arcade, “working out” etc… The purpose behind this mechanic is to create additional options for interesting and engaging RP. This could drive traffic to certain areas, and give another option for certain items to be useful. Imagine a scenario where in order to compete in a fight, you had to “workout” before. Or, to maximize your work efforts, taking a break and playing a bit might help! I definitely realize there are plenty of things to be done before something like this, but the idea seemed interesting to me, so feel free to disregard for now 😊.
